On 26 August,2016, Hiren Chandra Nath, an IPS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya batch of 1996 took charge as the new Police Commissioner of Guwahati succeeding senior IPS officer Mukesh Agarwal. Recently, Penfreak had the opportunity to interview him. Here are the excerpts from the interview...

In 2013, Heather McManamy, a mother and loving wife from Wisconsin, was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the age of 36-years, she passed away from the disease.

In her waning days, she spent a lot of time thinking and contemplating life. Before she passed, she wrote her husband Jeff a touching and hysterical letter. She asked him to post it on Facebook for her, and ever since he posted it on December 15, 2015, it has gone viral with more than 102k shares on facebook alone.

Why ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ should be banned all over India- views of a nationalist

The recent news regarding the ban on ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ by The Cine Owners’ and Exhibitors Association (COEA) in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Karnataka comes as a solace to the millions of ‘nationalists’ nationwide, who have been waiting to seek revenge of the ghastly Uri attacks. And myself being a ‘nationalist’, I fervently support the decision to boycott ADHM, which stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Not only in four states, ADHM should be boycotted nationwide and I have some solid reasons to substantiate my point.
